Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. These 2 volumes are both labelled 'Metropolitan Improvements' on the spine however Vol. 1 is the 1827 edition of 'Metropolitan Improvements' and Vol. 2 is the 1829 edition of  'London and Its Environs in the Nineteenth Century'. Both have green cloth boards with leather spines (raised bands and gilt lettering). All plates are present  and in good order. Foxing present, mostly to prelims but also occasionally to other pages and plates (generally light and around edges). Both volumes remain in good order.
