A very well detailed and comprehensive study of the river and its functions from an inter-disciplinary point of view, even extending to a review of the Statements, Proposals and Planning Schemes of the various Councils within whose boards the Thames passed. Numerous black and white photos present. The cover is tatty with some wear to the spine and staining to the front boards. Internally tanning to the front end paper. Otherwise in very good condition.
